Workshop - Psychology behind inhumanity

         On 30th July we started having a 3-days long workshop. The workshop was prepared by teamers Maya and Shachar. The topics of the day were Controlled experiment and Scientific method which had to be mentioned, since the approach to our  topic was completely scientific. Afterwards, we received a part of a scientific article "Moral Disengagement in the Perpetartion of Inhumanities" by A. Bandura. This article presents mechanisms of disengagement of moral self-sanctions when one is performing harm to others (E.g : Moral Justification, Euphemistic labeling, etc - pic 1). We went through the article together and discussed it in detail. We also mentiones Milgram's contraversial Experiment on Obedience which showed how people are willing to do harm to others just by following orders. Day went by with a lot of reading, analyising and debating.
